Practitioner Level Hypnotherapy and Life / Business Coach Training

Hello and Thank you for your visit today.

I am looking forward to meeting you and encouraging you along  your life changing journey of becoming a first class, ethical Hypnotherapist.

As we will be working closely together you need to know a little more about what lead me into this amazing profession,

I was a late starter, having bought up two families, I have been married to my husband Bob for twenty seven years after my  short first marriage of six years which produced two amazing daughters. Bob and I bought up my daughters together and it was akin to what would be classed as a traditional family life. Bob worked and I was a stay at home Mum.

While my daughters attended secondary school I  entered the workforce into direct sales, I rose to the challenge of selling double glazing, there were not many women at that time who were double glazing field sales consultants , measuring windows and doors and  with my "gift of the gab" selling and obtaining deals at the first appointment. Not the most popular of professions as we used the hard sell tactics in those days..I sold a lot of windows!

I went on to help to establish a Trades Directory with a  lively entrepreneur, selling advertising business to business in my role as sales manager to a large team of field consultants. Sales gave me a huge adrenaline hit, I loved it!

I went on to have another child at the age of 35 and became a stay at home Mum again,

When my youngest daughter attended school I began my training in the Social sciences and counselling and completed an Access course, which lead to acceptance into University to study for my BSc in Psychology. My lecturer asked me what I wanted to do with my degree and to her surprise I replied that I wanted to become a Hypnotherapist.

The Universe had other plans for me , as I then found myself caring for my baby Grandson while my eldest daughter continued to work part time and my youngest daughter became Home Educated at the age of 8. I dropped the degree and concentrated on my family once again, but continued my studies as Psychology was a fascination for me. Of course you never stop learning.

I discovered Chrysalis ,and took a years Hypnotherapy course in2004 which fitted in well with my home life. When I graduated with merit I set up Rochester Hypnotherapy and have been working full time ever since.

At the moment I have four Grandchildren between the ages of 9 and 13. My youngest daughter entered college at 16 and in September 2010 will be attending the University of Kent after obtaining 3 A*s for her A levels, following her ambition to become a clinical neuropsychologist.

I am studying alongside my youngest daughter with the OU to finally obtain a degree at the age of 53, my interests are now with the workings of the brain,as well as behavour, although this is purely for my own closure as a degree is irrelevant to the Hypnotherapy profession.

Well thats me in a nutshell...

Why don't you come along to meet me so that you can tell me all about yourself?

Kind Regards,

Jackie
